Where are you from and where do you work (city, studio, or home studio)?

I'm from France and I have my own home studio in Paris where I live.

When did you first become interested in Motion Comics?

I watched the Watchmen Motion Comic and found it great, then I heard about the competition and that's pretty it. I had to watch some more that I found very different from one to another (Spider-Woman, Batman The Dark Knight, Metal Gear Solid, etc). Then I had to get started.

What do you like about Motion Comics?

I like the idea of "paper coming to life", I was actually looking for a new way to tell stories, and found it very interresting as a new media. Everything about it need to be explored. And I would like to be a part of it.

How did you get started in animation/Motion Comics? Did you have any kind of formal training?

I work as a director, photographer and video editor but I'm a self-taught person in animation, and I've learned all I know while I was working on "Nova all for one".

What techniques did you like to use in your Motion Comic?

I liked very much to use particle emitters in Motion. I never used them before, and sometimes it was pretty hard to manipulate them properly. But it helped me to create moving atmospheres that I did enjoy.

What works of animation, comics, film, or books inspire you and your work?

Japan inspire me a lot: their culture, design, fantasy. I also keep thinking of Orson Welles and his Citizen Kane. And while I was working I listened to hundreds of soundtracks: Tyler Bates, James Newton Howard, Michael Giacchino, etc.

What is your ultimate dream?

Make people dream, work and live in New York City.
