I am the son of Doctor Gary Jamison who used to run that Foot Clinic before he retired. It is now run by Doctor Shlomo, who is also a fine podiatrist. I designed the signs characters when I was a kid. It might tickle you to know that, I am overjoyed to see this! Great great work! I've also heard of a song called "Sad Foot Day" and a superstition that many Angelenos are still prey to: the revolving sign has the sad foot on one side and the happy foot on the other and if you first see the sad foot

Do you live in Los Angeles? I have seen this sad foot on crutches on billboards. Is it for Foot Doctor or something like that? I don't know if the reference is intentional, but if not, I feel you are at risk for copyright infringement, despite your admittedly very charming storyboards.
