the judges are apparently lacking hearts (among other things)...this was one of my very favorites and was by far the most emotional of all of the entries. On to bigger and better things..right?

I saw a little boy who is ignored while his parents do it in the bedroom. When they come out they hug him, but he runs away and his bear gets ripped. He can't be consoled, and replaces the bears eye with his own. His dad can't make him stop crying, so he gives the bear his own heart. The bear dances and they are all happy again. They live in a house covered by bugs and little bits of them are always falling off. The character and scene design is awesome. It seems to be about being afraid o

Extremely powerful. Dark and sad, yet nothing is overdone. Subtle. Ugly and beautiful. The concept for the characters is remarkable. You definitely got our vote Chris. Best of luck!
