In our defense, as I have already addressed, a lot of the issue is cost. This is not a computer animation-- stopmotion-specifically replacement animation-is very expensive. We aren't able to just make things for "show" in Stratastencil. We needed affirmation first, and so far you are the only naysayer.

Additionally, we have tried to be clear that this is not a traditional narrative, where storyboards would be helpful. We are hoping that because there is nothing else like this, we can really shine in the next round, without any need for an explanation. The work will speak for itself.

On the contrary, I feel the core idea is what holds this together quite firmly. Certainly, there aren't "many" ideas, but that is the point. A single and explicit relationship between visual and aural aspects is the heart of the idea. It simply explores the correlation between the music and a physical, tactile visual form. That's all it needs to be. The layered and complex timing of this track specifically lends itself to a layered and complex visual aesthetic. Realistically, this idea sim

simply didn't warrant a "storyboard" in the traditional sense, merely a rough demonstration of the possibilities of the process. I appreciate the feedback, it always makes me understand my ideas better when they are challenged.
