i like it visually, but i guess i missed the subtlety of it too...

It seems that many viewers here are missing the subtlety of your video. How else can you explain the mere 11/2 stars? I love the effects and find something new in the video every time I watch. The story of the moths and the liquidity of the graphics go really well with the song. Good work!! And self-promotion is an artistic act in itself. It seems you are skilled at that as well, however non-subtly.

not sold on moths—maybe more like packaging peanuts, like the biodegradable kind made from cornstarch that you can actually eat and taste like puffy cheetoes without the cheese without the flavor. which makes me shiver at your dysphoria of a race of fluttering packaging peanuts, very unsettling.

Hey man. I'm all for marketing. Maybe you just need a little work on how you do it. It seems by your rating you've turned quite a few people off with your approach. It's a great learning experience. How will you change your strategy next time so you can appeal to more people? Best of luck!

I don't mind self-promotion!!!...it's the only way you can get attention when you are all alone in this whole bunch of awesome artists from all over the world and wants to be seen and recognized!!!...someone has to do something different, I agree!!!...and also the way they're gonna choose the entry for the second round, it's unfair too!!!...so I think you didn't do anything wrong!!!...nice work, loved the fx all the way!!!...n thanx for appreciating my work too!!!...
