Thanks for the kind words. I plan a mix of live (green-screen) elements for the man (both in the boat and underwater) with digital matte paintings and particles comps for the light effects coming through the water giving a painterly quality. Its important that the "light beings" shift from indistinct shining particles and take forms (a woman, a fish, a undetermined shape) emitting bright light from underwater - so a mix of 3d and particle systems to achieve this. Underwater the fish will be hand drawn and composited into painted scenes - giving a different feel from above - when we are above the waters surface we can see the illusion of beautiful lights from beneath, but as soon as we enter the water itself, the world below is very different.

Well, as Filip said, I'm curious to see how are you going to pull this off? It's a grate story, very powerful imagery but it really needs to be rich in detail and visually sophisticated to reach it's maximum potential... great! I gave it a strong 4/5 so far.
