I plan a mix of live (green-screen) elements for the man (both in the boat and underwater) with digital matte paintings and particles comps for the light effects coming through the water giving a painterly quality. Its important that the "light beings" shift from indistinct shining particles and take forms (a woman, a fish, a undetermined shape) emitting bright light from underwater - so a mix of 3d and particle systems to achieve this. Well, as Filip said, I'm curious to see how are you going to pull this off? It's a grate story, very powerful imagery but it really needs to be rich in detail and visually sophisticated to reach it's maximum potential... great! I gave it a strong 4/5 so far.
