The Ravens are Huginn and Muninn. They are a pair of ravens that belong to the Allfather, Odin. the two fly all over the world, Midgard, and bring the one eyed god information. Its likely that they are guiding this boy to his destiny. The Sword, Tyrfing, as is inscribed in on the base of the blade, is said to never miss a stroke, never rust and will cut through stone and iron just as easily as through clothes. Great animation! I hope to see more!
