I hope to god that you aren't in the animation industry,I find it quite disrespectful that you would leave a comment like this. This was a STUDENT FILM, no recording rooms, no hired voice actors, and it's a damn shame that it couldn't pass your high standards. I would hope that you don't talk to everyone you know(or don't know) with this much disrespect, otherwise there's probably alot more people that feel the way I do about you. Thanks for all the kind words everyone! 7revor6uitar- I'm not really sure who you are, but the thing that blows my mind is how negative someone can be towards another peer. There's such thing as constructive criticsm (which I LOVE) and just plain old being an asshole. Always start with the positives, then give your feedback."It blows my mind how such good animation and background art can be utterly ruined by one terrible voice actor". That's a fantastic way to start a conversation.

Why would you care so much about the animation, the concepts not bad too, and just throw it all away by having a bad voice actor? It gets me every time. I've seen this over and over again. And especially by private animators. They seem to think for some reason that the voice acting isn't as important as the animation. They couldn't be MORE wrong! It's just like if you took the time

to make a Gustave Dore type Illustration and then let your kid draw a black smiley face in permanent marker on it over the main characters face. It completely devalues the piece. Why wouldn't you care about one thing SO vital? It makes no sense to me. And please don't try and defend it all you backseat commentators just because he is a good animator. He obviously took the time to make sure the backgrounds were of the highest quality, and the animation, AND the music. The sound quality is a

alright too. Its well mixed and mastered. So why, would all of a sudden, the main character's voice be complete s#$%! You could have took anybody off the street, any 16 year old boy, with no voice acting experience or talent whatsoever, and you'd get just about the same result as you did here, with a 50 percent chance that you might even get something better. Really. Although I will say the girls voice, while not spectacular, was at least passable. It was like listening to my girlfriend tal
