I really like what you've done here; It's really cool, but did you know that this is one of the rules of the competition? 6. Can I put live-action video in my animation? Nope--this is strictly animation set to the audio content provided by The History Channel and Aniboom. No live-action allowed. Check out the FAQ I don't know if that holds true for stills.

Thinking that I would see as a viewer of History Channel, perhaps a big campaign, seeking to follow the elegant line characterizing the channel, I went by the side of the sound, typographic animation and motion graphics, which is the way I like. I hope you like it (NOTE: CHECK IT ON HQ!!!)
