how about his village is burned down by bandits, and he doesn't know who did it, so he heard about this wise man who lives in the tallest mountain in all the land, but to have the man tell him who massacred his village, he mist defeat him in combat. The wise man is very strong, so he must train like hell.

he means bow(staff) not a bow and arrow.
