no, u can keep it at 9 or 10 secs cuz it says AROUND 8 secs so you'll be fine wit it being just a little shorter!

lol... it cant win its not because of your animation... I admire you animation but It cant win in the competition because the limit is only 8 secs... ur great dude.. I recommend editing it... edit the long part at the end..
