Beyond the Window is a poetic animated short, telling the story of a young boy dreaming away in front of his bedside window, free in mind but bound to his wheelchair in body. When his imagination offers him a way out in the shape of a jester, he realises that true freedom lies beyond the window.

The artist Emil is working hard on his paintings which look detailed, but lack spirit and looks dull like his colorless room. The colorful inks on his palette come alive and realize Emil is making a disgrace of them. Being annoyed and neglected, they try to teach him a colorful lesson.

This piece of school project animation is a part of The Domestication of the Animal World. The play is about Orpheus enchanting the animals with his music, all carried out in different styles of technique. The dog is one of those. He's loose and Orpheus tries to get him back by excange with food.
