Everyone wants to see the best fireworks show for independence day but it depends of 4 improvised truckers

A typical 4th of July, a slave looks up from his cell at how people celebrate independence day. Amongst the crowd, he sees his owner walking with a smile on his face. This situation makes him wonder what the real meaning of 4th of July is.

Cole and Mia are charged by Jacob, the armless head surgeon, with finding the missing fingers of a recent patient. The journey leads them through the hospital where they meet the cast of characters featuring: the washed-up Australian ex-superstar koala and a psych patient who thinks he is Hamlet.

Show of the contrasts between the celebration and principles of Independence day at1850s, and the reality of black people, who were far away from the statement that all men are created equal
