A young boy is fishing at dusk. He becomes enamored by a young girl walking by. But the girl chases a firefly into a tall field and vanishes. The boy notices she dropped her lantern, but he cannot find her. Realizing night is coming and she has no light, he dashes home with a plan to get her back.
