This piece was simply an experiment, to see what I could do with the skills I had learned up to that time. I was asked to create a piece for an upcoming film festival, with a month's time this is what I came up with.

A fluent sand animation about Spring in the form of a beautiful young girl hatching from the ground. Singing nature's bustling song of life, she dashes through the seasons until, having spend all of her strength in one go, she must once again sleep in the earth before being reborn.

"fin d'ete" (end of summer) is a CG short film by Patrick Harboun, Ronan Le Fur and Joaquim Montserrat. The story: In an abandoned city before a tropical storm, a woman decides to stay… Through this film, our ambition was to portray a particular ambience and feeling more than a heavy storyline.
