Karpas's Favorites

This is the story of a man and his arrival in the land of the dead, where he is greeted by a worm, smiling skulls, and the Catrina. Gradually our character discovers that barring some inconveniences, being dead is not so bad.

In the desert drylands, the scorched ground suddenly cracks, and a boy finds himself as a witness to events he cannot explain,learning on his flesh about sin, sorrow, ignorance, hope and redemption.

A short film about the relationship between man and his own shadow: "Acknowledging the problematic dualities of identity the film evolves in a restless psychological space as the two characters struggle through increasing degrees of conflict to the resolution they are of course one and the same"
