A short vignette about a lonely old man who finds himself living in a noisy and often times violently absurd world when he rediscovers the sounds from a simpler time.

'The Dreamer' is about ambition and hope of becoming stronger and more powerful. In the end, the dreaming cat smiles at her desire with joy, or perhaps with ridicule, as everything are just as slight as a dream.
