A complex origami world comes to life in this stop-motion video for The Format. Nearly everything in the video is made of paper — including the band members and the evil robot that is set on destroying them.

It’s a traditionally animated video, that’s full of imagery from the late 70’s within an animation style from that era, the most specifically being School House Rock. Footage was shot of the band in order to rotoscope their performance elements. Most backgrounds were actual water-colored paintings.
