George the janitor has the mundane task of mopping the floor of the nuclear missile silo on the planet Gacrux. He has a strange physiology which allows him to mop the floor with his tongue and beard. However, he is unfortunately quite stupid, and ends up setting in motion a catastrophe for the ages.

An alien eats a fruit that sends him on a trip. Everything round changes to a fruit. After an altercation with a squirrel, he ends up jumping of a cliff and another alien eats him and goes on a trip too.
