Things are getting exciting around here. As you might have noticed, there have been a few changes to this year's animation competition. We did away with the Category prizes system (like Drama, Funny etc.) and replaced it with one main Category for the Awards and two ways to win - Community and Judges.

The Judges prizes go to the selections made by a team of professionals in the industry. The Community prizes will go to those that receive the highest ranking according to three factors: Virality, Votes and Views.

In order to follow how the ranking is going, we've added a couple of fun little features: the Top 10 and the Competition Feed.

The Top 10 and the Community Feed track how well animated videos are doing in moving towards a high ranking. The Top 10 shows which animations are at the head of the pack, and the Community Feed shows you activity for each of the entries (comments, votes, viewing), as they happen.
