exclusively on aniBoom, we're showing the new animated music video by the Eatliz band for their new single, "Hey". For the next two weeks, the home of animation is the only place you'll find the amazing new 3D animated short directed by Guy Ben-Shitrit.
Their first animated clip, for hit song, “Attractive” won numerous awards and went into rotation on MTV Europe, and their newest animated music video does not disappoint.
THE GENERAL IDEA
"Hey" is a Sci-Fi Fantasy journey about a little girl with a special pet friend - a huge toad.
During their play, the girl and the toad come upon a magic box in a fairground. The
magic colors the girl's clothes, but transforms the toad into a balloon. This balloon drifts
away from the girl and the video follows her as she goes on numerous adventures in pursuit of her transformed pet friend.
In keeping with the rapidly changing scenarios, the clip was edited utilizing 128 shots in 03:26 minutes.
MAKING IT HAPPEN
The concept for the video first came up in March 2006 and took two years to be realised.
Fifteen people were involved in the process of making the video, all of them top professionals in animation, art and 3D design in Israel.
The production pipeline was set up following the principles and workflow of major animation studios. No step was skipped in the process, from script writing to design, modeling and character development, followed by a painstaking animation process.

years of serving as a 3D animator for commercials, TV programs and computer games. In 2008 he won the
MTV
International Art Break Contest.
