Frankie Ballone, "It's a Wonderful Underworld"

Frank Maria Ballone was born to Mario and Luiga Ballone, a son of immigrant fish who had left the Mediterranean due to over fishing and pollution. Mario and Luigina had seven sons and two daughters, of whom Frank was the fourth oldest. Ballone's life of crime began early. As a teenager, he joined two gangs, the Swimming Pool Rippers and the Pisces Thieves Juniors and engaged in petty crime.

‘Frankie the Balloon’ or ‘El Globo’, is considered a notorious mafioso, an American gangster who leads a crime syndicate dedicated to the illegal drug (antibiotics), fish traffic (for aquariums), as well as octopus prostitution. He was sentenced to jail five years ago on several counts of tax evasion, but was released on appeal.

Frank ‘El Globo’ has stated his willingness to integrate back into society and to leave his past behind him. Frank views his participation in the Aniboom Eyedoll Contest as an act of goodwill towards the American people, hoping to clear his name and bad reputation.
