why would you animate exactly what the lyrics say? i mean some people can pull it off, but thats the whole point of the competition. to let your creative side take over. :)

aye i agree in respect to that but i think relating the song/lyrics to the story or animation sometimes draws a fine line but if you don't connect it in some way then you're left with an animation that doesn't bolster a song - intertwining the two ideas in order to bolster both visually and musically through connections in both - fine line - on both ends
