 "One day, my brother called me and told me Aniboom was looking for talent, so I decided to send them some of my work. I figured no harm, no foul...they loved it and they wanted to form a partnership. Needless to say I was ecstatic."
Sergio Lebrija started doing animation in 1994 - mostly 3d work for commercials and architectural walk-throughs. About 4 years later, he began creating cartoons.
Though Animal Nation is his aniBoom baby, he's also currently working on another show in Spanish for the Telemundo TV Network in the US, a show he created, called "La Familia del Barrio". It has been on the air for 2 and a half years.
34 year old animator Sergio Lebrija lives in Mexico City, is married with 2 daughters and a baby boy.
