About Me:
Borislava Zahova
Borislava Zahova (a.k.a. Bobbyta) was born in 1981 in Sofia, Bulgaria. She showed great artistic abilities from early age - playing piano for number of years, doing competitive dance, and actively participating in math competitions. At the age of 13 she found her love of drawing and painting, and pretty soon this love become her passion and way of life.
Borislava graduated from the Sofia High School of Fine Arts in 1999 and the same year she was admitted at the National Academy for Theater and Film Arts, where she discovered the magic of animation. The combination of story, colors, and music made her feel complete and ready to express herself the best way she can. It made her feel ready to learn more, and to share her discoveries, fears, hopes, and desires with the world. Borislava graduated from the Academy in 2004 with a Masters Degree in Animation.
Ms. Zahova's animation has been seen at a number of festivals, most notably "Cartoon Club" in Rimini, Italy, 2003 and 2004, as well as International Youth Festival, Velingrad, 2003 where she won an award for her film "Doors".
She has also worked in TV as a music program host, and journalist.
Currently Borislava Zahova works as a graphic designer as well as a freelance artist and animator.
