About Me:
Obsessed by cinema, music and sushi, Eric Piccoli, a Québécois of Italian background living in the French/English city of Montréal, is a proud workaholic.
While finishing his studies in 2D animation at Cégep du Vieux Montréal, Eric made one of his dreams come true by creating an animated film: Waxman. It became an instant success on the Internet, on television (CBC Exposure and VrakTV), and in prestigious festivals like Fantasia Film Festival, ReAmnimacja and the NFB’s short programs. Not long after that, he starts a minor in Film Production at Concordia University. While studying, he works at the Vox Populi Studio as a storyboard artist for the animated TV series Punch! (official selection at the Annecy Festival) and continues to develop his uprising production company founded in 2006, Artstroke Films.
In 2007, Eric directs the short horror film Jammed, which makes into the official selection of the Rendez-Vous du Cinéma Québecois 2008, a prestigious festival in Montreal, Canada. Now, Eric is proud to present the public with two new films he directed: Express and Donut Quest. He is currently working on his first feature.
