Andy Bean was born in Reading, UK and graduated from Manchester University in 1991 with a degree in Theology and Religious Studies. Struggling to hold down a succession of menial jobs, he later embarked on a career selling budget holidays to geriatrics before remortgaging his house and returning to college to study stop-motion animation. Having worked in CGI for a succession of graphics houses for four years, his track record to date is astounding – he’s done nothing besides this short film.
