About Me:
Crazy Girl aka Tiff McGinnis is a London based audio/ visual artist. She makes all her own music and videos to accompany. She is currently gearing up for her album/DVD - Southern Belle From Hell on Tummy Touch records, due out in June 2008.
Originally from the deep south of Columbus, Georgia, USA – Tiff’s Bible belt up bringing, with fire and brimstone prophecies helped ignite her imagination. Tiff is self-taught with all mediums she works in.
Her videos are like digitized outsider art, with a heavy emphasis on storytelling. They are colorful, twisted, humorous, and thought provoking. She has shown her work at Lattitudes, Reading and Leeds Festivals, Industrial Revolution in Manchester, Optronica Festival in London, Stuttgart Festival of Animation, and Mid-E festival in San Sebastian, Spain to name a few. And her first ever video – High Tide Hell – was watched by Albert Hoffman, the inventor of LSD, on his 100th birthday at the L.S.D. Symposium, in Basel, Switzerland, Jan 2006. Tiff has also been signed to the London film and video agency – Draw Pictures – as a promo director.

Tiff has done guest vocals for many known acts like Groove Armada, Depth Charge, Chicken Lips and Panico, to name a few; but she has branched out with her own unique sound which is a combination of garage, blues, and psychedelic swamp rock.

Crazy Girl has many strings to her bow, and her other passion is her radio show – Eclectic Crazyland on Brooklyn radio dot net. Where you can hear ultra rare audio delights from the 1920’s to the present day. She plays garage, blues, psyche, bluegrass, glam, punk, surf, sleaze, classical moogy goodness and much much more. But the witty banter has also helped her fan base grow!

There is a naivety, real rawness, originality and depth to Tiff’s work, her creativity knows no bounds! Crazy Girl is a true Maverick.
