aniBOOM believes in rewarding hard working artists for their labor, so we have created a REVENUE SHARE model based on Number of Views. This means that the more people who watch your movies - the more money you’ll earn.
Each registered aniBOOM member who has uploaded movies will receive their proportionate share, calculated in accordance with their relative contribution and Number of Views racked up.
Payment will be remitted twice a year, but checks will only be cut when your share has accumulated to above $50.
Note: The Revenue Share plan will only be activated after the portal is opened to advertising and sponsorships – estimated to be end 2006.

The total number of people who watched your movies, where the viewers are from, which other sites display links to your movie and more…. In essence, it’s just like having your own personal website with tracking services.

Our unique rating system calculates the average between audience ratings and Number of Views in a ratio of 60% rating / 40% Number of Views. (For fuller details see Rating System in Competition – FAQ )

A BOOM-Zone is your own personal space on aniBOOM.com that is a SHOWCASE for your work. As soon as you SIGN-UP you automatically proceed to the next step of creating your BOOM-Zone. It is where:

1. You upload your animated movies plus all relevant details, such as brief synopsis, tags, credits and much more...
2. Communicate with others and invite people to visit you and view your work
3. Let people get to know you via your personal profile and favorite image
4. Let professionals find you based on your credentials in your Professional Info.
5. You’ll be able to edit / change most stuff at any time.
6. Recommend your favorite movies to others users

Just click on the SIGN-UP button in the top right corner of the Home Page. From there on just follow the simple instructions on each screen. We’ve assumed that animators are by nature pretty smart and computer literate, so we reckon that you’ll find all the subsequent screens self-explanatory. If by any chance you’re having an off day, and find yourself technically- challenged, then please feel free to contact us for help.

Yes, It can ! When you fill in the credit information of your production team on the CREDITS Screen, you can insert the e-mail address of all those whom you’d like linked to the movie. The aniBOOM website administrator will notify them of your invitation to the link. Once they accept - the movie will be linked to their BOOM-Zone.
Warning: Be careful that your movie doesn’t get uploaded TWICE ! Due to the method of our Rating System, it could adversely affect your chances of winning a competition if two or more people who worked on the movie uploaded it, simply because they forgot to tell each other ..

There are 2 critical reasons why you need to complete this screen:

1. Your movie can only be LINKED to your BOOM-Zone via the CREDITS screen. You need to tick at least ONE of the check-boxes to the right of the Credit fields. When you tick any of these boxes your name will appear in that field, and the system will automatically link the movie to your BOOM-Zone.
2. After the Grand Launch of aniBOOM.com the SHARING function will be activated. All the members of your production team (whose names you inserted in the appropriate credit fields and for whom you supplied email addresses) will be notified (as per Q3 above) and this should avoid anyone on your team mistakenly uploading the movie again.

Yes, you can DELETE any movies you’ve uploaded at any time. You’ll find this function on your BOOM-Zone and all related screens.

If you wish to upload a movie that runs longer than 15 minutes, please contact us at info@aniBoom.com and we'll be happy to give you permission. The reason we don’t allow automatic upload of long films is to prevent any attempts to upload materials that may not be strictly legit. It is to safeguard copyrights.

You may submit / upload as many movies as you like both to the competition and the portal.
BUT - each movie must be entered into its own relevant and most suitable category. This means that once you submit a movie to a specific category you will not be able to change it to another category without approval from the site administrator. So take care to pick the category that best suits the content of your film.
