A group of friendly colour pencils are drawing in a child’s bedroom. The youngest one wants to lend a hand too and so the rest help him to finish the picture. “Colors” is a lovely short story, which demonstrates the importance of friendship and working together.

The animation shows a girl and a boy character drawn on paper, and they are forced by the animator to be like what girls (women) and boys (men) are expected to be in the society.

Things get out of hand for Mac and Roe when they take the rules of the game not too seriously. No winner guaranteed in this split-screen stop-motion animated tennis match. I made it, with a lot of help, as a technical experiment back in 2006 wile I was working as an animator in Holland.
