although it does say death of a christmas tree as the synopsis, its the death of the grandmother that was essential. the tree and the grandmother are entangled together from the start....they are both planted in the room at the same time, they are both decorated, they wither together, the raven shows up to both their deaths. i wanted to show the grandmother being left there and her analogy of being at deaths door. To show her feeling like a christmas tree, being left to die in a room with no pu
